So the annual NRC traveling Kabuki and propaganda extravaganza is well under way.

From the NRC news list you can see the schedule of ' performance reviews ' for each facility.

https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-colle...news/2019/

I had hoped to be better organized by this time to present info on each facility.

Each yearly meeting is to only review the last years performance.

In particular I will post some available info on this fiasco for 2018.

NRC Schedules Open House to Discuss Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant
Performance and Construction Inspection of New Units |
https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-colle...019.ii.pdf

April 25, 6-  7 p.m. at the Augusta Technical College’s Waynesboro
campus, 216 Highway 24 South, in Waynesboro, Ga.

" NRC found that the two units under construction met all inspection health and safety
objectives. "

-------------

These are all the ENs collected for 2018. As you can see they have a serious drug and alcohol
problem. In court it's well recognized that people get caught about 10 % of the time.

You'll notice that it's people at the 'supervisory' level that are exposed.

What about the rest? The welders, pipe fitters, electricians, radiographers and all the other
skill sets that actually have their hands on the work.

While the NRC will spout about how well everything is going, the evidence suggests otherwise.

ANNUAL ASSESSMENT LETTER FOR VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING
PLANT UNITS 3 & 4 (NRC REPORT 05200025/2018006 AND 05200026/2018006)
https://www.nrc.gov/docs/ML1906/ML19063D346.pdf

"The NRC determined that overall, VEGP Units 3 & 4 were being constructed in a manner that
preserved public health and safety and met all cornerstone objectives."

-----------

While each report may seem minor, and the NRC spokesweasels do everything to promote that,
when assembled as a whole presents a much different perspective.

There's more info in the GA_Vogtle_3_4 Future Disaster post, things like the RPV falling off the train,
and the basemat being slanted.

Q.  How many drunks does it take to shutdown a nuclear reactor?

A.  Only one and he won't even realize he did it.
