Bomb scare on submarine at BAE shipyard

An employee said staff in the Devonshire Dock Hall complex had been told this morning there had been an anonymous tip of a bomb on one of the Astute class vessels at BAE.


[ According to the article approx 1700 staff have been evacuated. ]

[ Bomb threat, no actual bomb has been confirmed. ]

I just came across a follow up article, they investigated and said they didn't find anything suspicious.

"Following an extensive sweep of the Devonshire Dock Complex (DDC), including the four Astute class submarines in build, nothing suspicious was found," the company said in a statement."
