WEBCAM September 2017
Your welcome Felibi, hope you can add more pics to the collection.

09-21 Some of the watchers used to think that tepco played back old looped video but I didn't think they would bother.  This morning I watched as cam1 kept switching from a 1 am view to the current 5 am view it should have been.  Tried resetting everything to make sure it wasn't my equipment.  Same thing happening; cam4 shows a steady 4am, now 5am view but cam1 says 1am going on 2am with occasional screen flashes of the correct 5am view.  Freaky, never saw the feeds do that before. The correct time shows briefly while it mostly plays the old time, about a 4hr 20min difference.  Nothing much going on to cover up so I think it's just a glitch tepco is having with the cam1 feed.

09-19 noticed a little spark burst on cam1 so I did a half hour count.

Hi watchers, I don't know if I'm right but really, there seems to be a serious discrepancy between what we are shown on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC34BJEX...6YBksIYY6Q for example here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nhj-Lei1sk and what we see on Tepcam 4.
Where in the heck is this big round construction on R3?
It doesn't seem to even exist on Fukushima Daiichi youtube channel.
Yet we can so clearly see it on Tepcam4 and we've seen it for days, weeks.
Tepco is messing with us. We know that already. But really, it's so obvious. What's wrong? All is wrong, all is fuked up.
Gosh, I can only hope I'm wrong.
I wanted to watch the EQ M 4.8 - 35km E of Namie, Japan

Hi Felibi, it was a surprise to me that the Tepco timelapse had started up again.  Not too surprising that they stopped two moths ago when the r3 roof cover construction started up.

07-26 When the r3 fuel removal roof cover was started

Time lapse
1:20/3:00 watch the first piece being installed at 07:21 jst

Easy to miss the action but the first piece placed on r3 is hiding behind the vent tower. Tepco might have stopped the timelapse in case any problems occurred, too bad because it is quite impressive to watch the huge structure being built.  Tepco doesn't want any bad news or any news about Daiichi to cast a shadow on the planned Olympics.  Tepco reports published for the public have been trimmed to almost nothing.  I can only guess that they want to keep Daiichi out of the news to convince the public that the disaster is over and no risk to the people attending the Olympic games.  Tepco has announced delays to the spent fuel removal timetable so they won't have anything going on to fog up the big show.  They tried to get people to return to contaminated areas to make everything look normal but the situation in Japan is not normal and still poses a health risk. Abe will have his Olympics no matter the health risk to participants and visitors.

The recent earthquake M 4.8 was not big enough to shake the camera much.  The shaking looked like wind buffeting the camera so I didn't make a video of it.  It takes one of the 5+ or greater quakes to get the camera rocking and jerking.

Thanks, Felibi, for posting the timelapse info.  I'll add the links to the monthly start page in case they release more videos.

Of course, the video FD posted dates back to July. Sorry about that all.
Not even able to read a date. My bad.
Thanks for your kind answer, Horse. You beat Tepco everytime;
Thank life, you're here.
Well thank life, you're here too. There hasn't been much to report lately. Ooh, I saw a green crane in the foreground of cam4 yesterday. Ooh, I saw more sparks last night. Even ENENews has no news to aggregate and report on. Always glad to see you post, I had forgotten about the timelapse you mentioned and will add it to the archive links on the monthly start page. Merci beaucoup.

09-27 08:21 Workers moving across the top of r3.  Good daylight pictures of the superstructure frame that looks stuck in the middle at the top of reactor 3.  The frame was placed on the west side behind the vent tower to mount ring segments that are moved to the east side behind r4 and its add-on for installation on top of reactor 3.   The frame stopped in the middle after adding the second ring.  A large piece was removed from the area between the frame and the rings.  More work now being done in that area.
