Asia's nuke waste follies
#1
Lack of transfer sites for 610 tons of spent fuel might delay closure plans for seven reactors http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2017/04...-affected/

Who you gonna call? Not IAEA.

Quote:In the case of Tepco’s disaster-stricken Fukushima No. 1 plant, the site of the 2011 triple core meltdown, where to move its 2,130 tons of spent nuclear fuel has also not yet been decided.

Some of it is MOX fuel.  Maybe they could use Tokyo's Olympic sized pools after the swim meets.  I hope they won't be forced to make bombs with it. No place for the waste - er - nuclear asset.
