Sort of like sticking a piece of our sun in a pond.

Another not talked about thing about nuclear radiation is that it reduces a plants ability to uptake water.

The west coast drought has been magnified by this issue.

There was a study a few years back about how less viable nuclear becomes as global warming increases water temperatures used for cooling.
