This is a pretty cool tool put out by he U.S. Energy Information Administration

You can adjust the data and see what plants were up and running or down for outages and when.  You can also download the data.

Who is gonna dig in and have fun with this data?
Here is a sample of some of the data

Hard to know without a closer look at the data.  Could just be that many plants are on the same refueling cycle.

Good point. Even still - downtime is downtime.... be interesting to compare/contrast with other energy provider outage data.
Nuclear Plant (never used) for SALE

5 B-B-Billion DOLLARS over 40 years.  Produced nothing.

For sale CHEAP!   only 36 million

Nuclear Power is/has been a costly/deadly scam for a long time.

A guy steals a loaf of bread and goes to jail, while the nuclear industry steals from everything like there's no tomorrow.

One of those articles had a quote that 30 nuclear power plants have been sold in the last 15 years.  2 a year.
Stinks to high heaven. TVA and their contractors/cohorts need a seriously deep audit.
